What documents or evidence should I bring with me the first time I meet my attorney…

Video Transcription

When you’ve been involved in a Florida car accident and have sustained injuries and you are meeting with an attorney, it is very important for you to bring all of the documentation that you have regarding your accident. This will include any photos that you’ve taken at the accident scene of damage to your vehicle as well as the other vehicle. It will include photos of the accident location itself as well as any injuries you’ve sustained. If there are visible injuries, take photographs of those and bring them to your attorney. In addition to that, if you have any witness information from the scene that your attorney may be able to contact and get a statement from, that is important. If you have a police report, bring that. If you have any medical records or medical bills, bring those as well. If you have a copy of your auto policy, bring that with you. If you don’t, at least bring your insurance card as well as your health insurance card. If you have the insurance information from the at-fault driver, bring that information as well. The more information you bring to the consult, the better consult it’s going to be for you to be able to get the information that you need.
